The Ready Mixed Concrete Association of Ontario (RMCAO) was formed in 1959 to act in the best interest of Ontario's ready mixed concrete producers and the industry in general. It is fully funded by the membership (Active and Associate) and provides a broad range of services designed to benefit its members and the industry.

The RMCAO provides a world class plant certification to all its members. The Association is active in a number of areas of the industry including new concrete and admixture technologies, education and training, environmental stewardship and ongoing partnerships with many industry partners. One of the main promotional events for the industry, the Ontario Concrete Awards  held in conjunction with Concrete Canada.
